Rotterdam-specific hazards the CBR tests

Tunnel entries (Maastunnel, Beneluxtunnel) — sudden light change, speed-limit drop, no overtaking inside. J23 "tunnel" sign and tunnel-specific speed signs.
Tram + metro intersections — Rotterdam's RET network creates unusual priority situations. Trams typically have priority.
Port-bound truck traffic — wide turning radii, long blind spots. The CBR tests positioning behind/beside trucks heavily.

Booking tips

Rotterdam slots are typically easier to find on short notice than Amsterdam.
If you live in the Hague–Rotterdam corridor, compare slot availability at both Rotterdam and Den Haag-Rijswijk centres.
Allow 45 minutes for the interpreter version of the exam. Don't book travel out of Schiphol on the same day.
